Terms and Conditions - holiday rentals only
No contract shall exist between Accommodation in Tuscany and any of its clients until the booking form has been correctly completed and returned along with the relevant deposit and confirmation of acceptance of the booking either written or emailed has been received by the clients.
Letting:
The apartments are let from Saturday to Saturday for periods of no less than one week.
Clients are requested to arrive between 4pm and 8pm and check out no later than 10am
Arrangement can be made only in exceptional circumstances for clients to stay for an extra few hours and only if notice is given before the start of the holiday.
Rental:
Rental rates for the property consist of the vacation rental rate, tax included, and a refundable security deposit of €150,00.

Payment:
A deposit of 20% of total rental is required at the time of booking and the balance 6 weeks before the holiday letting commences. Confirmation of booking will be sent promptly to the client.
The deposit must be received within 15 days after any verbal agreement to reserve a property.
This payment will consist of the rental rate and the refundable security deposit.
Breakages and Damage:
A refundable security deposit of €150,00 is payable with the balance 6 weeks before the start of your holiday unless where stated on the property details.
The Deposit is refundable within 31 days of end of rental period, minus any money deducted for damage, missing items, extra cleaning or phone charges.
These deductions would not prejudice any other legal rights or remedies sought by the owners of the properties in respect of damage or losses.
Cancellation:
All changes in bookings and cancellations must be submitted promptly to Accommodation in Tuscany either in writing or by e-mail.
If you wish to cancel all or part of a booking, the following cancellation terms apply:
Cancellation more than 4 weeks before start of holiday: forfeit of the deposit that is 50% of total rent.
Cancellation 4 weeks or less before start of holiday: forfeit of the total cost.
If we are able to re-let the property for the full length of the cancelled rental period, we will be issue a refund less a 25% administration fee.
We recommend travel insurance is taken out by clients.
Insurance:
Accommodation in Tuscany advise clients to take out an insurance policy for holiday cancellation.
It is a condition of booking that you take out a personal injury policy, since local Italian insurance on the house will unfortunately not cover your stay here.
Payment Methods:
We accept mailed personal cheque, bank money order, bank cashiers cheque, bank transfer and Paypal payments.
Number of People:
The number in your party must not exceed the number of people inserted on the booking form.
Arrival and Departure Times:
Clients are asked to arrive after 4pm and must leave by 10am on day of departure.
Smoking:
All of our properties are non-smoking unless the property for information states otherwise.
Pets:
Please check the details against the property for information on whether or not
pets are allowed.
Cleaning and Linen:
Cleaning will be carried out prior to your arrival.
House linen is provided where stated in the property details.
Telephone:
Where available, meters will be read at beginning and end of your stay.
Pool:
Private pools will be open from 15th May to 30th September.
Garden and maintenance:
Grounds need regular maintenance. All efforts will be made to keep any inconvenience to guests to a minimum.
Cancellation by Accommodation in Tuscany:
If Accommodation in Tuscany have to cancel the client's booking due to unforeseen circumstances, the amount paid for the property will be refunded. The client will be liable for any cancellation charges for travel.
Liability:
Accommodation in Tuscany and owners will not be responsible for any damage, accident, injury, or loss of money, jewellery, or valuables of any kind during your stay. We look forward to helping you have a wonderful holiday in our properties in Tuscany.
